The fluid inside the solar panels provide heat to the storage when available, otherwise the on-demand gas or electric heater maintains the temperature inside the tank. We have 94% efficient on-demand gas heaters!

In addition to providing heat for domestic hot water, the SUN Equinox System can be designed to provide heat for radiant floors, air-handlers, and reheat coils **.
** - Reheat coils are used in summer and winter to heat up air that has been over-cooled in order to wring out moisture. The sun can provide alot of reheat energy in the summer!
